Ref: Setting up POP email in various email clients
Open Outlook. Outlook being a premium Microsoft product, it shows you an additional two screens of blah during configuring your email account. The first one welcomes you and the second one actually asks you whether you want to configure an email account and gives you the option to say no!! Well I suppose thats what we paid all that moolah for, so click Yes and Next. BTW, If this is the first time you ran Outlook, this wizard should pop up automatically. If he didn’t, you can wake the no good bum up from Tools >Account_Settings > E-Mail Account > New.
In a nutshell, get the wizard to run either automatically or from Tools >Account_Settings > E-Mail Account > New. On the “Auto Account setup” screen, select the check box “Manually configure server settings or additional server types” and click Next.
Fill in your details as shown. Next Click on the more Settings Button.
You can also choose whether you want to let Outlook remember your password by checking the check box below the password field. I’m lazy by default, so I always check it.
Under More Settings, make sure your selection resembles the above and Click OK & click the appropriate buttons to complete the account setup and quit the wizard.
The Next few steps are exclusively for EHA users as return receipts are interpreted as spam by our smtp server. Not following the steps outlined below, will ensure that your outgoing email is blocked by invisible return receipts cooling their heels in the Outbox which can be a veritable nightmare. (For me 
) The following screenshots are from Outlook 2003 as there is no difference between the layout of the buttons/Tabs or Screens
Click on Tools > Options
On the Prerences Tab, click on Email Options
Next, Click on Tracking Options
Under Read Receipts, (towards the end), click on Never send a response and click OK
Thats it dude! You are all set to go, you can now send a test email full of gibberish to someone you don’t like -you can always claim that you were testing your new account! ;-P
