Open Outlook Express and click on Tools > Accounts
Warning: The next step is a serious security risk. If you follow it, you are requested to save the .iaf file in a safe location and destroy it after restore. This file contains your account details and password. If it falls into the wrong hands, your email account can be setup on another computer and emails can be sent/received on your behalf to impersonate you or violate your privacy by downloading an unauthorized copy of your email. The safer option is to delete the account shown in the next screen shot by clicking the remove button after you have written down all your email settings (Click properties to get the settings)

{READ WARNING ABOVE} then click on the Mail Tab, then on your account and on export. The .iaf file it generates stores your email account information.

Go to Tools again and this time click on Options

Click on the Maintenance tab and click the store folder button

Carefully copy the full path from the pop-up window

Click on the Windows Start Button > Click Run and paste the path and click OK.

Click the icon for moving up one folder in the directory tree
